How to apply

  • Basic and post-graduate medical degrees
  • At least 2-year clinical working experience
  • Current employment

  1. Submit application form and CV to
  2. Confirm program starting date and duration with the Secretariat
  3. Submit the required documents 3 months before the fellowship begins (short term), 6 months for long-term
  4. Complete membership registration and fee deposit 
  5. Apply for visa after receiving fellowship approvals from the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan
Required documents
  1. Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  2. A copy of Diploma (Bachelor, Master or Ph.D. in English and notarized if it is necessary)
  3. A copy of medical practice license (in English)
  4. A copy of passport (at least still valid for 6 months)
  5. 2 recommendation letters
  6. A copy of working experience certificate (to prove your working experience in GYN is more than 2 years)
  7. 2*2 inches color photo (formal)
  8. English Health report (you will have to re-check the Hepatitis B & C and chest X-ray report within 3 months if you apply for long-term fellowship program.)
* The health report shall contain Measles Antibody, Rubella Antibody, RPR/VDRL, original health report of Hepatitis B & C and chest X-ray report (do not need to provide X-ray photo and done within 90 days of the training starting date)
* The applicant will be responsible for the cost of all additional health examination or injection requested by Chang Gung Memorial Hospital.

By completing the application, the applicants hereby agree to have their 
names, photos, and institutions announced on the APAGE website.

  1. Applicants are advised to confirm the funding before applying for a program.
  2. All applicants must have 10-year APAGE membership.
  3. Please complete the membership registration and fee deposit after complete application.
  4. The fellowship approval will be confirmed by the training facility and the Ministry of Health and Welfare in Taiwan (MHW) in three to four weeks before the program begins.
  5. The training facility at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Linkou offers free dormitory to the international fellows.
  6. If applicants would like to cancel the fellowship after the approvals have confirmed, please submit an official letter of explanation to the training facility; the applicants will not eligible for re-registration.
